Winter Has Arrived
Winter is here! We had our first snow flurries overnight. Many of asked, "How cold is it up there in Canada?" Well, for the most part, we've been experiencing the same mild fall temperatures as most of you in the States. Most days have been in the 60's dropping down into the 40's at night. The kids have enjoyed a long bike season and are now exciting for some fun in the snow. Although there's not enough snow of the ground for sledding...it's only a matter of time! Keep in touch. We love hearing from all of you.

Thanks for the update. It is so fun to see and get the new news on the children. We are excited about our visit next week. YEAH!!! One week and one day until our visit. We can't wait to see you and give hugs.
Love always, The Kauffmans'

I can't believe that you, a Pennsylvania Duetch gal, had never made a pie crust. Congratulations!
We've become good friends with a new couple from NT ~ Patrick & Candice Cheah & their 3 precious children, from Malasia. I helped her make an apple pie, which appears to be their favorite.
The Mowes are in the area, but haven't been to church yet. You probably know they are getting ready to return to Malaysia. We enjoy seeing Sarah here at NT, but Deborah will be attending school in Tennessee.
Good to hear from you.
Love in Christ,
Arlene Colburn
