Rachel, Nate, and Bekah

It’s been awhile since we’ve written. We want to update you on the kids and show some pictures. Rachel, Nathan, and Bekah have just completed their first quarter and are doing very well in school. Rachel’s favorite subject continues to be Math and she’s been doing 8th grade Math this year! Nathan does well in Math and Spelling and works very hard at Reading and Comprehension. Bekah loves everything in school! She has learned cursive writing this year and has very neat handwriting when she takes her time.

Up to this point all three children have played soccer for their PE time. The school was divided up into 4 teams. There are only 26 children in the entire school (K-12) so there were about 6 or 7 kids on a team. Rachel was on the “red” team, Nathan on “blue” and Bekah on the “green” team. They had a championship game where “red” played “blue” for 3rd place,

then “green” played “black” for 1st and 2nd place. Rachel’s “red” team finished 3rd and we’re very proud of Nathan for congratulating his sister and having a good attitude. “Green” defeated “black” in a tight game 2-1. The winners all received a bottle of soda. Bekah played hard and even tried to take a ball away from a 10th grader. We all shared Bekah’s victory and thank God for all of the things that they are learning here, not only in school.
